Awards

The municipality of Malečov, together with 18 other municipalities, entered the regional round of the "Village of the Year 2025" competition. On June 25, 2025, a presentation of the municipality was held in front of a 12-member commission at the newly opened Malečov Center near the football field. Within the allotted 45 minutes, the mayor, the chairman of the association, and the director of the elementary school and kindergarten gave their presentations. This was followed by a minibus tour of the Malečov region with the committee, with stops in Březí, Němčí, and Rýdeč. The results of the regional round were announced on August 2, 2025, in Radovesice, which won. The village of Malečov was awarded thanks to its cooperation with the Malečovský rozhled association. The cooperation between the village and the association is truly exemplary. The chairman of the association expresses his gratitude!
