The first (small) step

On October 14, 2025, stonemason Josef Sotona and his mother began work on restoring the war memorial to the victims of World War I in Proboštov. They cleaned up the immediate surroundings and uncovered its stone foundations. Among other things, they discovered that the concrete surface around the stone foundations on the eastern side had several wide cracks. More in the Renovation section.
