There are very few historical photographs of Babiny I. The following photographs come from private archives, "Extinct municipality" platform, Petr Špaček's book "How it was in Ústí nad Labem 2" and from the archives of the Ústí nad Labem City Museum.
Photographs from the first stage of this project, the renovation of the Babiny I cross, will gradually be posted HERE.
Photos from the second stage, the construction of a memorial site with an information sign, will gradually be placed in this section.
An idea of the site of the vanished village of Babiny I is given by the photographs taken on December 1, 2024. Among other things, they show a well, by which the mentioned memorial site with an information sign should be located.
On 13 March 2025, another series of photographs was taken with the intention of using some of them for an article about this project in the Leitmeritzer Heimatbote, published in Germany as a supplement to the Sudetendeutsche Zeitung.
