To complete the MUZOOS project, a working team was gradually formed in the first half of 2023 – see History of the project for more details. Since the project will unfold in two independent levels (mental, focused on the professional content of the project, and physical, focused on the reconstruction of the existing KD Rýdeč into a MUZOOS building), the team is divided into two working groups:

ZOOS Group for the Development of the Project's Technical Content:

Mgr. Petr Karlíček, Ph.D., Director of the Ústí nad Labem City Archives

Mgr. Ing. Petr Novák, Department of Geoinformatics, FŽP UJEP, Head

Mgr. Jakub Pátek, Ph.D., Department of History, Faculty of Arts, UJEP, Head

Ing. Zdeněk Petr, Chairman of the Association

PhDr. Kamil Podroužek, Ph.D., Centre for Documentation and Digitization of Cultural Heritage, Faculty of Arts, UJEP, Deputy Head of the Centre

Mgr. Jiří Riezner, Ph.D., Department of Geography, Faculty of Science, UJEP, Secretary

Mgr. Jan Kyselka, Department of Nature and Landscape Conservation, AOPK ČR, Regional Department Administration of the Czech Central Highlands Protected Landscape Area, Head

MUZOOS Group for the Reconstruction of the Existing KD Rýdeč:

Mgr. Petr Karlíček, Ph.D., Director of the Ústí nad Labem City Archives

Mgr. Martin Krsek, Museum of the City of Ústí nad Labem, Head of the History Department

Petr Kůstka, Mayor of Malečov

Ing. Zdeněk Petr, Chairman of the Association

Ing. arch. Pavel Plánička, 3+1 Architekti, s.r.o., Managing Director

However, the semester work of students at the Department of History, Faculty of Arts, UJEP, for the summer semester of 2024 was not at the level required by MUZOOS. Given that subsequent contact with the Department of History, FFF, was limited on the part of the department, the use of student work was reevaluated and other ways of fulfilling the content began to be sought. In the fall of 2025, the use of AI proved to be a very promising solution.

The ZOOS group (as of the end of 2025) remained composed of Karlíček, Kyselka, Novák, Petr, and Riezner. In the spring of 2025, Mgr. Petr Meyer, Ph.D., from the Department of Geography, Faculty of Science, joined MUZOOS to create a pilot project for a 3D landscape model based on SK CPO maps from 1843 for the Malečovsko area, and RNDr. Zdeněk Kučera, Ph.D., from the Department of Social Geography and Regional Development, Faculty of Science, Charles University, who is using statistical data to analyze the development of the České středohoří region in terms of population size and composition, forest and agricultural land development, etc.

After the architectural study by Pavel Plánička was completed, the MUZOOS group (as of the end of 2025) remained composed of Karlíček, Krsek, Kůstka, and Petr.

The path to the dream will certainly not be easy, and there will undoubtedly be many obstacles and complications. But we have already taken the first step...
